This page explains the cookies sarthy.io uses, what they do, and how to opt out. Sarthy itself (the self-hosted product on your server) uses its own cookies for authentication; those are governed by your install, not by this policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It can hold a session ID, a preference, or a tracking identifier. Some are essential, others are not. Under UK PECR and UK GDPR, non-essential cookies require your consent.

What we don't use

No third-party advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No social media pixels. No Google Analytics. No Facebook tracking. No retargeting.

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting alternative that runs without cookies for the visitor and without sending personal data outside the EU. It collects only pseudonymous, aggregate page views.

How to opt out

The cookie banner that appears on your first visit lets you accept, reject, or customise. You can change your preferences anytime by clicking the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

You can also block cookies directly in your browser settings. If you do that, the site still works, but your preferences (like currency on the pricing page) won't persist between visits.

Changes

We'll update the "last updated" date at the top when this policy changes.
